Health Information

The mission of our health staff is to provide a safe and healthy learning environment in our schools and to keep the students in class for optimal learning.  In order to achieve this mission, health staff duties include caring for injuries and illnesses, managing health records, completing state required vision and hearing screenings, and working with parents and teachers to coordinate students’ health needs.  

Our current health staff includes Marie Roake, RN at ACE Academy. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your student or any necessary health paperwork please reach out at 440-632-0261. The extensions are 3009 ACE Academy.

Criteria for Sending Home/Return to School: Please refer to the following guidelines to better understand how district health staff are determining which students need to be sent home and when, and when they can return to school. If your student is sent home with any of the following symptoms and they last longer than 24 hours, then written documentation from a medical professional stating when they can return to school is required.
